Arcadalo is a collection of fifteen original arcade games for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. If something isn't working or you have a question, email contact@chardie.co.uk and you'll get a reply from the person who made it, usually within a day or two.
The fifteen games
Swarm, Pulse, Slipstream, Drift Lander, Outpost, Rally, Shatterball, Coil, Star Sentry, Void Runner, Sky Squadron, Last Line, Hop Rush, Burrow and Flipper Frenzy: each built from scratch with its own controls and its own scoring. Every game is a ladder of stages that starts gently and keeps getting faster, and every game has a boss, a rival or a twist to beat, plus perks to pick between levels. There's a Daily Run, a Weekly Gauntlet and Boss Rush, and Play Together for two players on one screen. Your best runs are kept on your device.
What's free, and what the unlock includes
Free, forever: three games, played as often as you like, with no ads and no time limit.
The Arcadalo unlock is a one-time payment of £2.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency) that never renews. It opens every game, every palette and three bonus soundtracks for good. Every locked game also gives you three free runs, and a different game is free for everyone each day, so you can try before you buy.
Restoring a purchase
New phone, or reinstalled the app? Open More → Restore Purchases and make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on. If you bought it through Family Sharing, the organiser's purchase needs to be shared with your group.
Game Center
Game Center is entirely optional and is only used for leaderboards and achievements. Every game keeps your scores on your device whether you sign in or not, and declining or signing out changes nothing about how the games play.
Common questions
Can I try a game before buying the unlock?
Yes. Every locked game gives you three free runs, and a different game is free for everyone each day, so you can see if you like it before you pay for the unlock.
I bought the unlock, but it's not showing on my other device
Open More → Restore Purchases and make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on. If you bought it through Family Sharing, the organiser's purchase needs to be shared with your group.
There is no sound, or the haptics aren't working
Check the sound and haptics toggles in the app's settings, and check your device isn't muted or in a mode that suppresses haptics. Arcadalo plays effects through the media volume.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Everything Arcadalo stores lives only on your device, so deleting the app removes it completely.
Requirements
iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later. Arcadalo also plays on Mac and Apple TV with the same purchase, and game controllers work in every game.
