How to play Dominosa
A full set of dominoes has been shuffled into a grid. Put them back together.
The rules
- Join neighbouring squares, across or down, into dominoes.
- Every domino in the set appears exactly once. A set up to 3 has 0-0, 0-1, 0-2, 0-3, 1-1 and so on.
- So no pair of numbers may be joined twice anywhere on the board.
A quick example
1 and 2 join, and 0 and 0 join. Each pair is used only once.
Tips
- Find a pair that can only be made one way. Placing it removes that pair from everywhere else.
- The double (like 3-3) needs two equal squares side by side. If there is only one place, it goes there.
- A square in a corner with one possible partner is already decided.
