How to play Drop Merge
Drop numbered tiles into five columns and watch matching ones merge into bigger numbers.
The rules
- Each turn you get a numbered tile. Slide across the board to choose a column, then lift your finger to drop it.
- A tile that lands beside an equal tile merges with it into one worth double. A bigger group makes a bigger jump.
- The run ends when every column is full to the top.
A quick example
Two 4s side by side merge into an 8.
Tips
- Keep your big tiles in one corner and build next to them.
- Merges that make a new match merge again. Set up chains and your score multiplies.
- Leave a column empty as a safety valve for awkward tiles.
Most puzzles take 3 to 10 minutes.
