How to play Strike
Too many numbers. Cross some out until every line adds up.
The rules
- Each row has a target on the right, and each column a target underneath.
- Cross out numbers so the ones left in each row and column add up to its target.
- There's exactly one way to do it.
A quick example
4 + 2 + 6 = 12, so the 7 has to go.
Tips
- Compare the row total with the target: the difference is exactly what you need to cross out.
- A number bigger than the difference can't be crossed out, so circle it as a keeper.
- When a row or column turns green, its crossings are final. Use them to solve the lines that cross it.
